What I Wore…”Minnie Me”
Yesterday was the clothing swap hosted by Dash Me! that I had looked SO forward to attending for the last few weeks. I happened upon this Minnie t-shirt after I collected my clothing, and had to have it! There is something about being in a room with fashionably creative people that stirs a great deal of inspiration in me. I admire everyone and their styles (retro, rocker, preppy, vintage…I love it ALL). This is how I wore my Minnie Mouse T. If you wanted to make this look a little edgier (and not so girl-next-door), an alternative to the skirt could be a pair of faux leather short shorts like these and leopard print heels like these, or heels with spikes shown here.
You can’t really tell, but I actually styled my hair in a BOW inspired by the t-shirt. My husband says I use my hair as an accessory, which is often times true :-)
P.S. - If you don’t know by now, I have a heated love affair with pockets!!
