Gloomy day? Add color!
I woke up this morning to rain, which always makes me want to crawl back in bed. However, not having this option I chose a little color and pattern to give me a little pep on a dreary day!

I finally had the chance to break out this dress with a brief intermission of warmer temps in Chicago. I am not a girly-girl so to tone down the lace, I added a striped button down and a denim jacket. I dress in layers anyway because you never know what Chicago will do next.

Tips and Tricks for Rocking a Cropped Top
- I love the look of cropped tops, but I, like many girls, am a little uncomfortable showing my stomach. - Since certain cropped tops can cut your torso short, try pairing your crop top look with heels to elongate your entire body.
